Worth knowing before you join.
- Rate. Gather multipliers are read from the server name. A server with no rate in its name may still be modded; open its page for the description.
- Population. Compare players against slots, not the raw number. 40 of 50 is nearly full; 40 of 200 is quiet.
- Wipe. The next wipe estimate is shown per server. If it is missing, the owner has not published a schedule; do not assume a monthly reset.
- Performance. A server running below its usual fps under a full population is degraded, whatever its rates. Sort by fps to see which ones hold up.
Your sequence: pick a rate, check the wipe estimate, then check fps at current population. Three readings, one decision.

A server is modded when it changes how the game plays: rates above 1x, kits, shops, teleports, custom loot or a different game mode. Facepunch requires these servers to list in the Modded tab, so a raised rate found elsewhere breaks the rules. Chat and admin plugins alone do not make a server modded.
2.How do I pick a modded server?
Pick your rate first, then check the wipe estimate, then read fps at current population. The table shows all three on one row. A server with a high population but low fps is degraded; one with a low population and steady fps is simply quiet. Both readings matter more than the name.
3.Do all modded servers wipe blueprints?
No. The force wipe on the first Thursday of each month resets the map on every server, but whether blueprints go with it is each owner's choice. Check the server's own page or its description before you commit to a base. If the schedule is not published, treat it as unknown.
4.Why is a server's fps different from what the owner says?
The fps figure here is measured from live readings, not reported by the owner, and it is refreshed every five minutes. A server can sit high when quiet and drop as population fills. Check the same server across a few readings before drawing a conclusion, and check uptime over a longer period.
Modded covers a wide range, from a small rate bump to full custom game modes, so the filter matters more here than in any other tab.
Start by narrowing. The live server list filters by region, group limit, rate and population, and the table above applies a tag on top of that. If you already know your rate, go straight to a list for it: 2x, 5x, 10x. For servers that fill and stay full, sort the table by rank.
For owners, the same columns tell you where you stand. Check: uptime. If it has dropped below where it sat last week, that is your first item. Population against slots is the second. Entities is the third, since a world that never cleans up will pull fps down over a wipe cycle.
